Weis Builders and CGC Win 2018 Constructech Vision Awards
Scottsdale, Arizona – August 29, 2018 – Computer Guidance Corporation, the leading developer of ERP software solutions for the construction industry, today announced that Weis Builders was named as 2018 Vision Award winner by Constructech magazine in the GC – Builder/GC Commercial $251 million to $500 million Category for leveraging innovative technologies enabled by Computer Guidance Corporation’s eCMS ERP applications.
Now in its 19th year, the Constructech Vision Awards honor companies that are using emerging technology in a pioneering way to solve a challenge or to transform the industry.
The winners were selected by a group of industry experts, analysts, professors, and consultants based on the construction company’s ability to solve a business problem, use technology in a unique way, and the ROI (return on investment) of the solution. Companies are eligible for a Gold, Silver, or Bronze in their category. Additionally, Constructech recognizes the hardware and software companies that helped enable the construction company to receive its award.
Weis Builders received a Silver Award for innovative implementation of subcontract management, job costing and several accounting workflows and a Gold Award for streamlined payment processing, automated billing and dynamic financial reporting.
“This year we had the largest pool of entries by construction companies, with a focus on improving their ability to respond to customer demands through the use of emerging technology and transforming their businesses all while keeping their workers safe at the jobsite,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Constructech magazine and president of Specialty Publishing Media. “Although not every company that nominated made it to the podium this year, the ones that are earning industry accolades are demonstrating how critical technology is in building upon a new world economy.”
“We are honored to be recognized as a leader in driving the digital transformation process in the marketplace,” said Victoria Satran, VP Marketing, Computer Guidance Corporation. “As we help our customers introduce integrated and real-time data and processes into their daily activities, we bring to them greater value so they can more effectively compete in our ever-changing digital world.”
