Computer Guidance Customers Are Among The 2020 Constructech Vision Awards Winners
Scottsdale, Arizona—November 24, 2020—Computer Guidance Corporation, the leading developer of cloud-based ERP solutions for the construction industry, today announced that its customers, Alcorn Fence Company, Herzog, and Miller Bros. Construction, were among the 2020 Constructech Vision Awards Winners.
The construction industry has adopted new methods and leveraged technology to forge ahead in a new working world. Constructech announced the 2020 Vision Awards winners, which have recognized a challenge that exists in the industry and solved it using innovative solutions, at a virtual celebration held on November 13.
The Constructech Vision Awards honor construction companies that have realized the advantages of where construction and technology converge and how they can successfully apply it to their everyday businesses. These awards are for construction companies that have done something innovative with technology.
Winners were selected based on the project and how the challenge was solved with the use of technology. ROI (return on investment) and other factors were considered.
Companies nominated in a number of different categories including residential, commercial, trades, corporate owners, and more. In addition to honoring builders and contractors, Constructech also recognized the hardware and software suppliers that have enabled the construction company for each project.
“The Constructech Vision Awards represent outstanding technology achievements in the construction industry,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Constructech and president of Specialty Publishing Media. “I am still thrilled, even with the pandemic, we were able to celebrate this year’s gold, silver, and bronze award winners even if the format was a little different than it has been in the past.”
“We are proud to see our customers receiving these prestigious awards as industry leaders,” said Victoria Satran, VP of Marketing, Computer Guidance Corporation. “And, we are honored to partner with our customers and play an important role in supporting their growth and enabling their operations.”
An independent panel of judges scored each entry. This year’s Constructech Vision Awards judges include: Christian Burger, Burger Consulting Group; Daniel Castro-Lacouture, Georgia Tech; Mark Federle, Marquette University; Pietro Ferrari, George Brown College; Carol Hagen, Hagen Business Solutions; Dryver Huston, University of Vermont; Julian Kang, Texas A&M University; Jim Kissane, industry expert; Anoop Sattineni, Auburn University; and Bill White, IUPUI.
