Computer Guidance Corporation has continued to strengthen its cybersecurity and IT governance practices throughout 2026 to help provide a secure, reliable, and resilient environment for our customers, partners, and employees.
With the leadership and support of our parent company, JDM Technology Group, CGC has implemented enhanced cybersecurity standards, policies, and governance practices designed to reduce risk, protect systems and data, and strengthen our ability to prevent, detect, and respond to evolving cyber threats.
James Bullis, Director of Cybersecurity for JDM Technology Group, leads cybersecurity initiatives across the organization, overseeing security strategy, risk management, monitoring, incident response, compliance, and ongoing improvements to our cybersecurity program.
Key Cybersecurity Initiatives
CGC has implemented and continues to enhance key security measures, including:
✅ Endpoint Protection & Threat Detection – Advanced protection and monitoring across employee devices and servers leveraging Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Sentinel One.
✅ Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) – Strengthened authentication requirements for network access and critical business applications.
✅ Windows 11 Upgrade on all systems and terminals.
✅ Cybersecurity Awareness Training – Ongoing security training and phishing awareness testing for employees.
✅ Vulnerability & Patch Management – Processes to identify, address, and reduce potential security vulnerabilities.
✅ Access Controls & Reviews – Established schedules and processes for regular reviews of user and privileged access to critical systems and applications.
✅ Incident Response – Defined procedures for identifying, reporting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents within CGC and within the JDM Technology Group.
✅ Network & Infrastructure Security – Enhanced network perimeter security, segmentation, encryption, and other protective measures.
